The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Can we "For the love of art" start thinking ideas in this direction related to museums and art logistics? Maybe someone would like to start a working group? Just ideas that come to my mind and sure to so many others. 😉
Dear Ariadne, your proposal is very important as the 17 sustainable development goals are, although many, and perhaps the most important, are goals that our governments, and partly us as citizens, must aim at. As professionals, operators and managers of companies, however, I believe that the commitment to sustainable development is very important and among the 17 goals I think I can consider, as a company manager, the following:
5 - Gender Equality
9 - Innovation
11 - Sustainable city (transport pollution)
12- Sustainable consumption
Sustainable development is a topic that interests me a lot and I am certainly available for an in-depth study to evaluate which ones of the 17 goals can be pursued in the management of our companies and our professions.
I am ready to work on it, ciao
Antonio
