GREEN SHOOTS. Emirates operates first flight with vaccinated staff across all customer touchpoints

Emirates says it has become among the first airlines in the world to operate a flight with fully vaccinated frontline teams servicing customers at every touchpoint of the travel journey.

The carrier said that flight EK215 to Los Ángeles was safely supported by vaccinated check-in, security, lounge and boarding gate employees, as well as engineers, pilots and cabin crew.

Additionally, aircraft appearance, loading, and special handling teams from Dnata ( is one of the world’s largest air services providers), as well as SkyCargo teams working on the cargo logistics were all vaccinated.

Earlier this month Singapore Airlines began operating selected flights with fully vaccinated crew members
