ITALY. Transport strike expected throughout Italy on October 22-23rd

Italian transport unions are expected to go on strike between Thursday and Friday, October 22nd to 23rd, with a general strike affecting planes, trains, and metropolitan public transportation nationwide.
The strike, which will commence at 21:00 (local time) on October 22nd, is to last for 24 hour.
An aviation sector strike is also expected between 00:01 and 23:59 on October 23rd and the affected airports will be Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, Rome’s Ciampino GB, Pastine International Airport, Milan’s Linate Airport and Verona Villafranca Airport.
Some Alitalia personnel will be on strike for 24 hours, from 00:01 to 23:59, on October 23rd.
Some ENAV airport personnel in Milano Linate Airport will be on strike for 4 hours, from 13:00 to 17:00. Please check with your ticket office whether this will affect your flight, in case you are departing/arriving/transiting at Milano Linate Airport.
Passengers planning to fly into or out of the affected airports should contact their airline to confirm flight status
