Due to the great Geo-climatic diversity of Mexico, the Government is preparing the opening of those places that have presented decreases in infection levels, called "Municipalities of Hope" - we can be agree or not in the name -, for institutional museums implies a great challenge, since strategies must be established immediately to open both archaeological zones and museums to public visit.
The National Institute of Anthropology and History is the cultural institution in Mexico with the largest presence in the entire country, with 162 museums under its charge.
So based on the plan "The new normality. Reopening strategy of social, educational and economic activities”, we are committed to establish protocols for the sanitation of exhibition spaces, public visits with a healthy distance, and protection of collections for this purpose.
