U.K. England to scrap travel quarantine for arrivals from ‘low risk’ countries.

Updated: Jul 21, 2020

People arriving in England from countries including France, Spain, Germany, and Italy will no longer need to quarantine from 10th July. Most travelers to the UK currently have to self-isolate for two weeks.

A full list of the countries deemed to pose a reduced risk to the public health of UK citizens will be published later.

There is speculation the initial list could feature as many as 75 countries, such as those in the European Union, British territories including Bermuda and Gibraltar, as well as Turkey, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.
