Stansted Airport has temporarily closed the passenger terminal at night. The closure has already started and runs until December 2nd between 5 pm at 5 am. It has been put in place in response to the current lockdown and government ban on international travel. The terminal will remain open during the day between 5 am and 5 pm, with a reduced number of flights operating. These changes are only temporary and when the lockdown ends and people start travelling again, the terminal will return to its normal opening hours.
Portugal is to ban domestic travel and close schools around two upcoming holidays in a bid to reduce the spread of coronavirus ahead of Christmas
Travel between municipalities will be banned from 11 p.m. on Nov. 27th to 5 a.m. on Dec. 2nd, and then again from 11 p.m. on Dec. 4th to 5 a.m. on Dec. 9th, to prevent movement around national holidays on Dec. 1st and Dec. 8th. Masks, already mandatory in public and enclosed commercial spaces, are now also mandatory in the workplace.
