As you may know, there is an effort underway at many museums to eliminate in-person courier travel, replacing this practice with a variety of virtual methods to monitor works while on loan. While these measures have been necessary during the last year due to worldwide travel restrictions, some institutions are making permanent changes to their loan policies, ceasing to require in-person couriers for outgoing loans, and in turn declining to offer support for couriers for requested loans.
